Campground Rules

Please read these rules carefully as it forms the contract you have with us as a guest – Revised on August 26, 2016

Season - Begining and End

Opening May 15 and closing on September 30th. Vehicle access to the sites is closed throughout the winter months, but walking in to shovel off RV roofs and so on is permitted.

Registration

All campers must occupy assigned sites. Only one vehicle is permitted per site. All fees are payable in advance. Check out time is 1:00pm. Trailers are for the use of park residents and their immediate families. They are not to be rented out or loaned to others. If other family members will be using your trailer, please notify management in advance.

Visitors

Visitors are the responsibility of the registered camper, who must notify the office of any visitors and how long they will be staying. ALL VISITORS must be registered and pay the required fees. Visitors are to park in the designated parking area.

Rates

Posted rates are for 2 adults and children under 18 years of age. Fees will apply for extra adults. Campers are responsible for all fees and taxes.

Quiet Time

Quiet time must be observed from 11:00pm to 9:00am Sunday to Friday and from 12:00am to 9:00am on Saturdays, Sundays and long weekends. Please be considerate of neighbors keeping undue noise to a minimum.

Construction

All construction must be approved by management and no work is allowed before 9:00am or after 6:00pm.

Pets

It is the owner’s responsibility to keep their pets under control. All pets must be on a leash at all times and you are required to clean up after your pet.

Swimming

Swimming is at your own risk as there are NO LIFEGUARDS on duty. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Campfires

Small fires are permitted and should never be left unattended. Please ensure all fires are out when you retire for the night. IT IS PROHIBITED TO BRING IN YOUR OWN FIREWOOD AS IT CAN SPREAD INVASIVE INSECTS AND DISEASES TO OUR TREES. Wood can be purchased from the park office and guests can use any dead wood found in our park boundaries at no cost.

Washrooms

Washrooms are closed from 10:30am to 11:30am for cleaning.

Accidents

We are not responsible for accidents in the park, on the beach or on the water.

Boat Trailers

Trailers should be parked along the top road in the visitor parking or in designated areas provided by management.

Fireworks

Fireworks are prohibited anywhere in the park including the waterfront.

Electrical Service

All sites have 30amp service. Please make sure you do not overload your wiring. Flawed electrical cords must be replaced or repaired immediately. For safety and maximum capability of amperage, a heavy duty 10-gauge electrical extension cord should be used. Please have your lights turned off during the day and when you are away. If you pop a breaker, we will turn it on at our convenience and we will not go out after 10pm, so be careful.

Speed Limit

A speed limit of 10km/hr is mandatory within the park and access road.

Fish Cleaning

There is a fish cleaning station available for your use at the west end of the park beside the Slipper cabin. Please put the fish remains in the garbage bags provided and in the freezer outside the station. If there are no garbage bags, see the park office.

Appearance

It is the responsibility of the camper to maintain their campsite in an attractive, clean condition, and maintain their lawn.

Playground & Beach

Use of the playground and beach is at your own risk. Young children must be supervised by an adult; it is not the park’s responsibility.

Insurance

You are responsible for insuring your camping unit and personal belongings on your campsite. The park is not responsible for accidents, thefts, break-ins or losses.

Vehicle Washing

Washing vehicles using water hoses is prohibited, bucket and mop only is permitted.

Trailers

Trailers over 15 years old are not permitted without the permission of the park owners. Upon sale or transfer of ownership, management needs to be advised immediately. The park owners have the right to refuse new tenants at their discretion.

Internet / WiFi

Wi-Fi is available at no cost, ask management for the password.

Laundromat

There is a small laundromat on the end of the washrooms.

Non-Compliance

A permanent eviction may be given by management for any infraction of the park rules. No refund or compensation will occur with any eviction.
